Help identifying this Wedgwood & Co Plates

Hi guys,

I'm new on here.

My question is can anyone help identify this Wedgwood & Co Ld plate. It has a Unicorn Stamp, also Wedgwood & Co actually stamped into the ceramic. The word Ivory is also stamped into the ceramic. It has numbers 7140 stamped on the back. There are also 3 numbers stamped on the back I believe them to be 029. I have exhausted all my usual routes but still unable to get any further information. Wedgwood were unable to help as all documents belonging to Wedgwood & Co were destroyed in several fires back in the 60s. Any help or support would be appreciated. Thank you

Your Wedgwood & Co earthenware dishes are NOT by Josiah Wedgwood, the famous and well-respected potter. Yours are by Enoch Wedgwood's pottery, he was a distant cousin of Josiah....

Your unicorn mark is older that the mark in that other post.... yours is 1908+.

Were you, too, looking for a pattern name? Many patterns didn't have names.

 

Enoch Wedgwood & Sons, IOW. He was a cousin of some sort to Josiah, but pieces from this company never commanded the prices of the other Wedgwood. The fancy Wedgwood, btw, now owns Enoch Wedgwood. Just to confuse things further.

Thanks for that. As you say I already know most of that. It's the actual date and pattern information I'm trying to find out. I've found a similar pattern on etsy, who are trying to pass off as Wedgwood and clearly isn't. Thus is unusual due to having 2 Wedgwood & Co marks. I will keep looking. Thank you once again.
