I don't scramble words or numbers, but proper names??? Yeah well. Part of it's the way my ol' Spectrum brain works and part is probable an effect of the MS. It's hard to say which is which, but it's worse at night.

 

I cannot remember names at all...my son used to play songs on his guitar and I'd recognise em, but as I couldn't remember the name or even the correct band, he'd get all Emo on me ( he was an Eem and still is to quite a big extent)
He'd strum a bit: Oh yes, Kev I KNOW THAT...Nirvana? No...is it Cute is What We Aim For? NOOO I KNOW! It's Enter Shakari! ( Was none of these at any given time) xxx​

 

I know the old ones. Sing the harmonies a capella even. Just don't ask me whodunnit. I learned the oldies from radio stations that played things and assumed you knew who was who. A few voices I'd know in a blind minute, but bands... not always.

 

I know literally every lyric I have ever heard though ​

 

I can't sing lead generally, unless I'm concentrating. Harmony "guys" don't always even do the lyrics anyway.

 

I was top soprano range and had some opera training in my teens.

 

I cannot sing to save my life but that has never stopped me ​

 

I was an alto, and also had singing lessons, but for Renaissance and Baroque. I ended up singing various folk styles, not that different from Renaissance.

 

No training here beyond a few random bits in Choir practice.
