Featured Isleta and Acoma pottery

    Here is some pottery that I just received from my mother-in-law's estate. She was a member of the Isleta Pueblo here in NM.
    This pot is likely from Isleta, but I'm not 100% certain.

    This plate and small bowl were made by my husband's cousin Kimo Decora and his mother Lupe, both from Isleta. The frogs are amazing!

    And this lovely thing is from Acoma Pueblo

    Those frogs are so fun, and the designs on that Acoma pot are amazing--I love those repeating patterns.

    What a talented family. Love them all but I agree the frogs are fabulous. What years were these produced?

    I know! I adore the pots with intricate patterns.
    It really takes a skilled hand to get the lines spaced evenly.
