    Hi,
Trying to figure out what country to look at for this mark. The stones are teeny and I am thinking it’s gold over sterling. Nothing on the lobster claw clasp.
    Thank you for any help.

    Looks like a manufacturer's mark.
To me it is one of those generic fashion necklaces that looks great on anyone. No who, what, where, just wear it and enjoy it.;)

Oh! Ok. I had another piece with this weird mark but I don’t remember what it was now.

And they put real diamonds in mine. Weird

    Diamond chips aren’t expensive.

They make/made some nice pieces, just not worth what they originally charged. Add bitty inexpensive diamonds and charge a 'mint' and people will think they're getting something good.

So true! I can’t believe what some people pay for things. My aunt was bed bound and used to buy those porcelain dolls they would be several hundreds each. You can’t even get a $5 spot for any of them. I guess if it made her happy, they were worth it to her.

If she liked them, she liked them. I wouldn't pay the $5 each for any of them, but I'll shell out for beading supplies. My mother would pitch those in the garbage bin first chance she ad if I wasn't around, so....

That's the truth. People tend to value different things for different reasons, and IMO it is perfectly ok as long as it does not harm any living creature - here I mean the disgusting habit of some people to value and pay crazy money for rhinoceros' horns or ivory. If there weren't such people, the gorgeous animals wouldn't be killed in vain...

Yes, that is truly a shame. I have watched a few documentaries on that. I think they even had a few on the antiques roadshow once.

not to worry, there soon won't be any of those animals left in the wild and the poachers will complain that they can no longer feed their families .....who will soon fade from the wild as well.
