To complete the story of (Emma) May Dixon.
In 1907 she married a solicitor called Walter How Davey. They lived in Ealing, West London. I can't find any work under her married name and no profession is given for her in the 1911 census. She died in 1962 and was buried in the churchyard of All Saints, Banstead, Surrey, in the same grave as her sister Mary E. Dixon, who had died, presumably unmarried, four years earlier.
