Featured "Zaparka" oil painting?

I stopped in my antique mall on the way home today and found this framed painting for a good price.

I can't find anything about A. T. Zaparka. Can anyone else maybe find any info?

I'd also appreciate anyone's opinion as to its skill / technique. My opinion makes me think this person had to have made other paintings...

Anton Thomas, I'd think. b. 1895 in Austria. d. 1977 in San Diego, California. May be a Sunday painter but trained.

In googling that name, all I can find is a young-ish contemporary artist who riffs on maps.

Sorry. I should have provided you with that information. On the Latter-day Saint's genealogy web site, familysearch.org. One must register to access but free to do so. Your work likely dates to 1963 or earlier because the state abbreviation CALIF was replaced by CA that year. I think your artist is related to this fellow. You can always ask.
