Ok, from the top.

Let's start with the table top indoor sale, eh?

Clever Bloke who didn't think the brooch was anything. I do. And a nice paste ring which I think is gold over silver.

 

And moving on to the car boot the next day. Lovely lad clearing out someone's costume jools shop insanely cheap. The bangles were a fiver in TOTAL. Necklace was a couple of quid.

 

And then, Bank Holiday Monday booty.

All these were a quid each - well, the amethyst was a freebie. Lovely girl I've chummed up with a bit had grabbed it before I got there. She finds me glass and I teach her glass. Anyhow, some other woman was trying to muscle in on both of us, so we ganged up a bit. Chum bought her bits, then found me a couple of minutes later and insisted on giving me the amethyst one. Bless her.

 

And then ANOTHER table top sale on the Wednesday. Oh, and a superior sausage sandwich in the Windsor farm shop. Silver brooch was a couple of quid. I've got earrings and a bangle which match the kachina.

 

And those beads were fifty pence a pop.

Oh, thank you! I'd thought Coro, as I've some others like it. I don't think I knew Lisner used that dangle too.

 

Great haul, obb. The Zuni inlay brooch/pendant is a dancer imo, not a Kachina. A similar figure to Zuni rainbow dancer brooches, except it doesn't have the sideways bend.

 

Ah, is it indeed. I need to have a look and see if my other ones bend! Bought those in Arizona, must be thirty or more years ago. I think there’s a ring, too.

 

Are the yellow ones bakelite or just a good acrylic? I've seen it go both ways.

 

Sixties acrylic I think, I’ve not got round to testing though. The Hollywood one pleases me hugely. Love it when you get the original packaging.

 

The JBK Collection piece is pretty good too; I don't see it move too well in the States, but it sells well if you ship it. (hence finding it in the UK)

yup, it’s just really not my style, a bit too cutesy. I’ve other JBK bits which I do like. But not this one.

 

I'm insanely jealous of so many of these pieces OBB, fantastic shopping week for you it seems!

 

OBB, indeed wonderful finds! I would be jealous if I wasn't convinced that it was not just luck but also a sharp eye and a lot of knowledge. So it is fair Really amazing stuff!
