Porcelain Shellfish Serving Plate?

    Hello Board Friends - I think this is an oyster plate but it's not the usual shape so I'm unsure. It measures about 11 1/4" x 9 1/4" x 1 7/8". I'm assuming it's very early 20th century German but don't recognize the manufacturer's mark of CF. Any help or confirmation of the who, what, when, where, why would be much appreciated. I'm still having trouble loading pictures so I'll copy some below. Thanks! Don

    Not an oyster plate, but rather a serving bowl for seafood, 2 sides and 2 smaller bowls for dipping sauce. It's just lovely. You could also call it a Lobster salad bowl or shrimp salad bowl. Seafood salad is an all encompassing name for it. it's lovely.
