Is this a real wedding basket or reproduction from Pakistan?

    Many people here won't click on links so it's better if you insert the photo itself in your thread.

    Someone may be able to tell you something about it but it depends on so many factors that often that's a bit hard to pinpoint. Past auctions etc can sometimes help with comparable items depending on condition and location. There are people on this forum from all over the world!

    not sure I would trust that for 2 reasons...
    the rim stitch...
    and the end stitch on the rim should line up exactly with the open space in the design...

    it's a traditional thing ....

    the design itself is also poorly executed.........so........ Pakistan..;)

    And both are "reproductions," made in Pakistan, from palm fiber.

    Yeah looks like. Definitely learned something. It’s kinda funny both are hand made with tons human labor hours put in but the demands are so different
