What are these pins?

    they look very thick for material

    possible woolen shawl clasps /clips/pins

    ( even possible kilt pins )

    In form they look like lingerie pins. But without knowing the size, can't rule this in or out.

    They're 1-1/2" long.

    Lingerie pins, designed to keep straps and such from showing. Some were even smaller.

    I've had lots of lingerie pins before. But they were always flatter than these and fancier. And the pin was much thinner. When I search for lingerie pin there are a lot of these being sold but I'm not convinced.

    The center one is newer and marked Swank. I'm sure that's a man's pin. And the lot was entirely men's jewelry.

    collar pins were straight ... with little knobbles that screwed on
