Makers Marks on Ladle

Hi all,

I have this silver ladle that supposedly dates to the late 18th century. Can anyone help me identify these makers' initials? It looks like W & GR. Thanks!

 

I don't see a silver mark.......have u tested it ?

not just old......but not in the habit of writing down the information when you get it and attaching it to the item........

(I can't tell you how many balls I drop these days. ) It gets sort of scary when I remember to think about it
