Featured Van Briggle help, please!

I recently picked up a Van Briggle dove in Persian Rose. I've searched ebay and Google and found a few in white and off-white. Google took me to an old thread here that had links to a Clem Hull site which I spent about 2 hours looking through, looking at marks, glazes and different shapes.

What I am looking to discover is when the dove/bird shape was introduced and some idea of when this piece was made. Persian Rose was introduced in the 40's and discontinued later (but I don't know when) and reintroduced in the 90's.
The old thread (sorry, I don't know how to link it to this thread) referred to a blue one and some Worthpoint listings which I'm not finding. So I know a few "asking" prices but no realized sales.



So, I'm looking for any and all assistance. Many thanks!

Average sold price is about 55.00 based on 2 years of ebay sales. I didn't see any finishers initials on it which would help date it. Older ones often show some crazing. Maybe 1960's?

 

Thanks. There are no marks other than Van Briggle, Colo Spgs and the conjoined pair of A's. No crazing and the base is quite white and shiny. So 60's sounds likely. Did you find any Mulberry or Persian Rose?

Didn't see any Mulberry or Persian Rose. The clay color and shiny bottom also suggests 1940- 1960's. You're welcome! - Joe

 

From worthpoint, a van briggle pottery bird on nest figurine described color as mulberry. It comes up in search results twice for some reason.
