I found this at a local thrift store today. I couldn't make out the signature, but it was so cool looking - even with a scratch on one side - that I bought it anyway.
Now I'm hoping someone can tell me who the artist was - and that I got a great deal!
    Thanks in advance.

Not yet johnnycb09, but I will today - great idea!
PS - Here is a 2nd piece I bought but didn't post because believe it or not I was able to find the artist on my own with image search! It's acrylic & by David Muniz.
I got it for 1/2 of the $399 listed price because it was Wed. and on Wednesday every color (all items have a color - which tells them how long an item has been there - and each day a color may be 10% - 25% off) on every item except the newest items' color is 50% off (on Wed. people arrive & start lining up from 6-6:30am for the 9am opening!)
PS - it has a sticky/gummy residue where I took the price tag off - I usually use nail polish remover to take that off but I want to be sure I don't scratch this - do you know if nail polish remover will mar or discolor acrylic?

I’d use goo gone, not acetone.

Barkeepers friend works on glass scratches. That’s a lovely lump.

If that was at goodwill, My uncle JD Robins designed the color coding system to move items . he ran Goodwill industries in KC , Mo. They would send him all over the world rescuing failing Goodwills.

No one knows the artist? Could it be by a amateur/weekend artist?

NEVER USE WINDEX or other cleaners on acrylic and lucite - warm soapy water only - it makes them yellow and crackle

It is David Garcia!! I just saw my bowl on glass art - with a $995 price tag! Thank you so much anundverkaufen; you saved me from selling it for the first $75 or $80 I was offered!
    Thank you again.
