Featured VINTAGE GROSSE CLIP-ON EARRINGS (Henkel & Grosse)

Please specify in which year this product was made. I see a stamp where the year of manufacture is indicated. I don't have it for some reason. In general, it is not clear how Henkel & Grosse and CHRISTIAN DIOR are related. What is the price of such a product if it is an original? The size is 33x30 mm. The stone shines very beautifully.

 

I am not a joolie but those earrings are stunning.

 

If only you could see their real beauty!!! The photo did not convey even 20% of the real beauty. They just glow, shimmer.

 

Stephan-They sound almost metaphysical in their beauty.Forum members are reluctant to offer hard dollar appraisals on items,but they will give you the tools to ascertain that.

Searching "Henkle & Grosse rhinestone earrings", found a number of examples that do not mention Dior. Apparently they did produce earrings for Dior for a while, like the brooch you show above with the 1968 date. But almost looks like they did their own production independently, too. Just going on a search showing a lot of examples that don't mention Dior makes me guess that.

Obviously if you can link Dior that would increase resale. Maybe someone here may know more about the collaboration with Dior and can help further.

 

Are those marked DIOR? If so, where?

There is only one marking - GROSSE

 

Eighties into nineties. I own Dior jewellery made by Grosse and jewellery simply labelled Grosse. They made under their own name and for Dior. The clasp they used on necklaces under both names is very distinctive. Two I own, one marked Dior, the other Grosse, are very similar to each other.

so yes, you can link them. Those pads are neat.

 

Ah, so nothing to do with Dior beyond the fact that Grossé produced earrings for Dior. Scale is important in dating earrings and you don't provide measurements but... Given the boldness of the design and that they're clip-ons, I'd think 1990s.
