Today's way to spend $40. The big beads are bakelite in need of a new clasp. The cherry prystal beads had their clasp, but it wasn't usable unless I could find a way to unglue it. So... restrung them tonight, with knots, with a toggle clasp. The original is a plastic barrel clasp that's always glued onto the original cotton string...that always breaks if the clasp doesn't around to it first.

The weird one is the amber necklace. The beads are all individually knotted and it sure looks legit, but it has what looks like a factory-original Les Bernard clasp on it..and he only made costume as far as I know.

A few of my charity shop and car boot sale finds over the last few days.
The glass necklace seems an odd combination of beads so I'm wondering if someone made it up from other pieces. I love the large Czech glass dress (or shoe/fur?) clip - thought it was a brooch until I turned it over. Was also pleased to get the reverse carved brooch - I have quite a few now. Not sure about the two bracelets but for 50p each I couldn't say no!
I was so happy with the Peking glass screw back earrings but when I had a good look at home I realised they are not actually a pair - the fittings are different although that wouldn't matter if you were wearing them.

Shoe clip, from the shape, I’d say. That necklace is a mix of wedding cake and Neiger.

That's what I thought too, or at least painted Czech milk glass mixed with wedding cake beads.

And at the hipster vintage mall, which is mostly clothes and becoming more and more clothing-exclusive, was this Alaskan basket with bandanas and trucker hats in it. I asked about the basket itself, they texted the dealer and he said $5. Sounds good to me!

Our village had a carboot sale today, didn't expect to find much but still found a way to spend! :hilarious:

A skin clutch bag, first clutch I've found that will actually hold my epipen, so it had to come home! The seller said crocodile, but the pattern looks snake?

And a fantastic pair of Celine T Saxe clip earrings. I've been getting into those lately, I need to be careful haha. Looked up the mark for funsies and had a nice little surprise so yay me, but these are staying with me for sure.

For a euro each I'd say money well spent!

Why are the photos blurry, they didn't seem to be when I took them...:banghead:
