I've had these earrings for years, wear them often. And then realised they're marked. Blowed if I can make it out. Help!

Google Lens search brings up match with these from eBay listing. Seller says Isal Paris School of Marketing maker. Don't think that's correct.

That’s more than I found, thank you. I don’t think they’re right, either. It’s more like isalxh. Which maketh not one whit of sense. They’re nicely made. That stone is decent glass.

There is a listing on the bay for earrings that has similar stones but are round. Nice find!

Isaki Paris according to the seller. (And 1970s which is incorrect.)

Isaki by Jacky Vallet, Paris according to this 1st Dibs seller. (Usual caveat with asking price.)

Oh, nice sleuthing, huge thanks. They must have been almost new when I bought them then. They're an 80s size, and in some ways, an 80s style. Probably paid a quid for them, knowing me.

    They're very comfortable too.

    Thanks as ever, folks!

I suspect they weren't inexpensive to begin with.

Funny, when one knows it reads Isaky... Impossible not to see.

It’s one of those, isn’t it. Bit like some Mdina signatures, which look nothing like the word, but if you know, you know.

I’d think they weren’t cheap, agreed. I bought them because I liked them, even though I thought them fairly modern. Done that a few times and had a nice surprise when it was a recent designer I didn’t know. Alexis Bittar for example.

She's not my thing, but selling her jewelry for $$$ wouldn't be a problem!

I’ve got some spiffy clip earrings of hers. One pound fifty, as I recall and still on the website at the time I bought them, at a hundred bucks. Hah.
