Featured Aluminum lamp - Art Deco?

    I found this unusual lamp today, made entirely of aluminum, including the shade. Would you say it was Art Deco in style? Looks like it, to me. Not sure if this lamp was homemade or a commercial product (there is no maker’s mark) but it has a late 1920’s - early 1930’s look and I like it!

    All I can think is how hot that shade would be after a few minutes ! I had a 50's desk lamp ,fabulous lines but emitted heat like a flame thrower !

    I like both of those! Shade looks like a beach hat, doesn't it. Too bad about the heat - never thought of that!
