    Hello everyone,

I found a very interesting albeit mysterious hand-blown vase the other day. Google image match search keeps suggesting Charles Schneider. It is quite heavy with an iridescent quality to the dark burgundy portions. It is fairly high relief, perhaps cut and acid etched. I can not find any signatures or maker marks. I am not very knowledgeable on glass but hopeful someone here might recognize the pattern or production style. Any answers or leads would be much appreciated. There is an over-cut nick in the corner of one of the overlaid lines, so I wonder if this is possibly an unsigned second of some sort.

Pretty, but I fear it may be one of those newer ones out of China. Like those fake "Galle" vases you see everywhere.

Acid cut, I'd say, and quite crisp.

It looks like there's a spot where the acid got under the resist:

Not knowing anything about cameo glass, I once picked up one of these at a local thrift, thinking it might be something "good". Turned out to be a quite common Teleflora vase Made in China.:rolleyes::hilarious:
(In my defense, mine wasn't marked. And I still think it's pretty!)

If this is what Teleflora vases are like these days, I can well imagine that in future, if not already, there will be people who collect them, just like there are people who collect Avon packaging.
