So I know nothing about textiles or fabrics, but I lived thru the 60's so I think this 'Paisley' (maybe ?). Anyway it was $5 a the Thrift & I liked it.Feels kind of silky or silk blend. It's 26" wide by 78" long & changes hue (or brightness) depending on how the light.Any idea what exactly it is & where it was made-India,China,U.S. ? Thanks much for the help.
First guess is an acrylic/blend “pashmina” scarf. They are widely available quite cheaply. They are very pretty! Achillea Soft Silky Reversible Paisley Pashmina Shawl Wrap Scarf w/Fringes https://a.co/d/9WvblpO
Agree with Debora! I had put "pashmina" in quotes to indicate faux but I should have been more clear... it is pashmina-style but certainly not genuine pashmina.
