You're "on a roll," Mak. Nice find. That one does resemble Imperial Glass Co., but probably not considering where you are. Any markings on it?

    Thanks.

Ashtray I've had for a while, and I didnt pay attention to it until recently, and now after what I learned here I go to a flea market and a woman calls out to me to offer me this. I was speechless.
It has no markings that I can see.
What I see now that you made me look again is that it is of two halfs verticaly put together, bonded together

Does it mean it is from two moulds?
I dont understand how than pattern continues idealy from one part of the bowl to another....

Was that lady also a fortune teller? :D

It's really one mould. AKA mold. Look at your vase and try to picture getting that OUT of a mold. Can't do. So there are two parts to the mold. After the glass is poured in (technically called "gathered") it is allowed to cool off and solidify. When ready the two (or more) parts of the mould are separated and the still hot vase is allowed to cool further.

Most moulds are two parts but more complicated pieces may require 3 or 4 parts.

Sorry I can't directly link you, but just do a search for -- glass moulds --
