    So.... Mine is a piece of ...??? Not sure it is an original engraving from the same period or part of a similar eau forte engraving...???

    Dimensions from Carnavalet:
    Dimensions - Oeuvre:Height : 20 cm (7-7/8"), Width : 14.4 cm

    (I think this refers to the image. It might refer to the size of the printing plate. I often see museum dimensions as ambiguous.)

    Yours is probably the same print cut to fit the frame.

    I would guess it dates to about 1815 (when Murat died), but the museum doesn't say.

    BIG MERCI!!! As usual...Pitty it had been cut....The all sheet would have had more interest and value.... Anyway..I learnt a lot and very proud to have an authentic engraving of Joachim Murat.Big Thanks again.....Few bizare pictures to come for you and colleagues expertises so usuful and accurate.
