This chair has been in my parents front porch forever. The house is about 175 years old. I'm curious if anyone has any thoughts as to the chairs history. I couldn't find anything remotely similar online. Thanks in advance!!!!

It almost looks like it was made out of an old bed frame or balusters ,doesn't it ? The scale is massive ! I love it,and I bet itll last forever.

Have never seen one quite like it. My reaction is 1950s colonial revival on steroids.
