This is another object I have, that I don't know anything about.
Not sure about material. Not sure wether carved or moulded. No idea where from.

Always show back side and give size. This looks like a cast object to me, resin or whatever.

Looks like a plaster wall hanging to me and though they don't really look Asian...that looks something like a tansu behind them.

    I don't think its asian...
Material sounds like a stone when you knock on it .
I think its some kind of ceramics.
On the craddle is inscribed IHS which may stand for Isus Hristos(Jesus Christ in slavic language sphere).

Perhaps plaster? That's kind of what it looks like from the back -

It feels like anything but plaster, believe me. It is extra heavy and feels solid enough that I think if I dropped it from the 3rd floor it would stayin intact

It was all ebony greysh colour but I started cleaning it with alchohol and some white spots appeared.

I'm 95% sure it is cast resin. To confirm, look closely at the back for some tiny air bubbles, which will prove it is some cast material, probably resin. Cast resin has a certain degree of definition and despite the color, a slight translucence, if you've looked at a lot of examples. Your item gives me those "resin vibes."

There is no sign of bubbles. I even used magnifying glass...
I think you are right though. I just browsed resin 3D wall plates and I think thats the material.
