Featured My Great GrandMother was a Theatre Diva--April 1916

    I've had this photo sitting on my piano for many years.
    Unfortunately, "Little Critters" ate through it in a couple of spots.
    The theatre group, in which she was the leading actress, were celebrating
    the last night of this particular production.
    She autographed it "Johnie" and dated it 4-29-'16.
    I Love the boots and has her glass raised in a toast.
    Apologies for the photo's poor quality.

    You should be able to identify the production. A popular 1916 theatrical piece with a "breeches role." Couldn't have been too many.

    Looks Hamlet-ish :)

    BUT, she/he is toasting, and I don't see a sword, nor a skull

    So, not sure who she is playing...
