1974 World Cup cuff links.

I have these cuff links from the 1974 world cup, held in Germany, with German writing. Apparently, Germany won the cup that year, although I have no idea. I'm not a sport fan...other than extreme chocolate eating

The main bit is just gold tone metal, but I don't know about the coin/medallions. Does anyone know anything about them. I can't find anything online.

 

Thanks I have a gold testing kit, but I dont think I could test them without marking them.....unless you know a way to get the medals out of the surrounds. I suppose I can only dream that they were given to the players in the winning team only lol

The one below, for instance, is from 2006:



It does seem that your cufflinks were made from souvenir tokens.
