    002.JPG 001.JPG 003.JPG 002.JPG Hi,
It is so good to get my camera back. I got this ashtray a while back ago. The person who was selling said it was Fiesta (WRONG). I know it is probably California, but I do not have my books on Calf Potteries. Does anyone know what it is and by whom? It is 4" across and 1.5" tall.
    Thanks

You might try Harlequin, a Fiesta look a like that was once sold at Woolworth's. Bauer also might be looked at. Guessing here on my part.

Find out which potteries made their wares with that dry foot? I know Brush and McCoy did, as did Camark. That might help you identify it.

The first thought that came to my mind was Bauer - but I don't recall them ever making an ashtray like this.

    Hi,
Thanks. It is driving me crazy. It is the same color as light green Fiesta, it has the ribs of Bauer. The weirdest thing is that it is big enough but only has one holder. Lord knows why I am thinking California but I am. It is a heavy pottery but whose???

    Hi Greg
Meyer, (also a CA pottery), is a pottery that made ring ware like Bauer, but there is not much info on them.

    Hi Pat,
Thanks for the info. Now, I wish I had not got rid of my California pottery books.

My first thought was Hull Mardi Gras line or Hall utility. I can't think of CA pottery that did a ring line with a dry foot. It the clay white or tan?

Okay, Catalina, Bauer, Pacific, Myers, Gladding Mcbean etc. all used a slightly yellowish clay in the era of "ring" pattern. How about a restaurant ware like Wallace China or Syracuse

    Hi Trip,
It is a very thick heavy clay like Fiesta. Perhaps I need to start thinking Ohio Valley
instead of California. I was thinking of tossing the dang thing in the trash but I would still think about it.

The color too pretty for the trash. Jade green pottery is the highlight of my kitchen along with black.
