Thanks to a kind post, I am reposting this as a new thread. Again, I apologize for not posting correctly earlier.
Would anyone have any suggestions on how old this is? It is large for a saucer ( 7 1/2 inches diameter). There is no mark. I am guessing that it is transfer ware. The foot rim is unglazed. Thank you for any thoughts.

I've read of people pouring coffee in the saucer to cool it, then drink from the saucer. So a larger and deeper saucer would accommodate this practice.

This is an old pattern that has been made by many., including Japan companies.

What you have is a saucer that probably had an oversized cup, known as a Breakfast Cup and Saucer. The cup would have held 8-12 ounces.

I'm guessing yours is of Japanese origin, most likely 1970ish. It was a popular pattern at that time.
