Can anyone translate the text on the side of this piece? I believe it is in Swedish. I'm actually having more problem with the cursive writing, otherwise I would enter the text in google translate (sorry grade school nuns, I know you tried your best! LOL).

The piece is 9-3/8 inches high with 5 inch diameter rim and 4 inch diameter base. It weighs 413 grams. Swedish hallmarks on underside with 1907 date code (if anyone know the manufacturer, that would be a huge help as well).

Here's the pics. Thanks! ... Dave

It says, "Drink all of this and you'll have a terrible headache."

Which is, of course, preferable to Southvegetarian.

    To Stefan Jonsson
Many thanks from the members (townspeople? citizens?) of W. Karup for 30 years of zealous service to the municipality (community?).

    From Wikipedia:
Västra Karup is a locality situated in Båstad Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 582 inhabitants in 2010.[1] Birgit Nilsson was born there 1918.

I think it's Elvish. You can see where Tolkien was coming from, eh?

Tolkien was a philologist at Oxford. The Elder Eddas, collected medieval Nordic poetry, was major material for his researches and writings. Not that that has anything to do with anything.
