Antique sideboard 4MP.jpeg Antique sideboard 2 4MP.jpeg Could someone please help me identify this piece? I'd like to know the date, style, and maker. Please disregard the bows on the brasses - it was given to me as a gift. Thank you!

Ditto, sideboard. Would also guess English. Can't see enough details to even hazard a guess on age.

From the style, I was thinking closer to 1800 or a little earlier?? Closeup:
LOVE the pitcher or jug, BTW!!!!

Due to size and form. I would call it a hunt board (for laying out the refreshments/meal after a hunt)

Not a sideboard, strictly speaking, it's for laying out food as Mansons rightly says. English oak, 1870s ish to 1920s even. I suspect it came from a hotel or restaurant.

(Had me confused for a minute with the photos ;))

It's very handsome! Those keyholes are faux are they not?

The one on the left end looks faux, the others, on enlargement, look functional....from images....

It's gorgeous!! I'd say sideboard. I have no idea what pattern. But I love the wood and the pulls!

Thought a huntboard to be smaller and taller.

It's not that common a term here, we tend to use sideboard or even side table for most things. There's another word for these long serving tables which has escaped my head.
