at least ive got a name to add to it, all be it after

 

this one has a similar look and paper type to mine, also without a background

Pretty sure that's on laid paper, though it isn't super obvious. It has to be laid paper to be by Dujardin because wove paper did not exist in his time.

 

Great research @moreotherstuff,and thanks for info on types & time periods of paper .Good luck on Volume 2 of Fables.Multi volume sets of what we now reprint in a single book was maddeningly common in the past.
