Maybe post stuff you'd like to sell in our "Sell" forum?

Thanks Pat, I think I can find that forum, if not, I'll pm you to get the link.

Can you (or anyone) provide the link to daily chat? I have a lot of catching up to do there...!

We don't have a "daily chat" thread (at the moment.) We just chat wherever and whenever the spirit moves us!

Thanks Bakersgma! No wonder I couldn't find it!
I do not mind having "chats" stuck inside of thread of stuff!

One question: Is RR&R a "private" chat thread - as in not visible to the general public? (Not that I have anything oh so private to discuss, just curious!)

Only to members. Nothing in the General Discussion section is visible to "robots" either, so you won't see you latest rant on Google. ;)

Anti, anything in the General discussion forum can only be seen by people logged in to the Antiquers site. And I see Bakersgma answered already.

However, remember this site has over 1,000 members now. Nothing on this site should be considered private.

Great! Thanks for remembering. I am sitting in my hotel room in SLC. The Family History Library is open for another 45 minutes. I was there all day and did not stay into evening. No big breakthroughs, but have some leads with still a few days to go.

I hope that you do. You would love it. However, I wonder if within 5-7 years most of the reasons to go would disappear. They are digitizing like mad and I am trying to spend most of my time using things that have not been digitized yet. They have already digitized almost all of the family histories in their collection, I heard.

Fig, are you doing genealogical research?

Fig, my deceased hubby's family history goes back about 160 years but the original documents have been horribly altered. I have some of the original documents but not sure what to do with these to keep them "safe" from alteration?

Sorry I did not see this before now. Yes, I am in Salt Lake City and leaving early tomorrow morning so will not be here long this evening. I have been hoarding genealogical information. :)

Not many breakthroughs for myself. But I was also doing some research on a friend's line and just found some good things on that today!

Long day of travel tomorrow so I will be going now.
