she looks like my mom (brenda) hehehe same era and one of her favorites and lesley gore was a fav.

 

Of all the Brenda Lee records in my collection, this is ultimately my favourite. It’s a 1957 first pressing of Rock The Bop in pristine condition. It’s also a favourite song of mine!

Yeah I do that too, I have a lot of digital files on hand. But when I want “the sound” I have my vinyl evenings, and I’m in paradise.

 

but on the down side it's usually a remake and sounds like crap to me lol

 

That’s the problem with a lot of digital files, sometimes they are cleaned up too much and they are missing something. But for music on the go they are alright.

 

i have sat. in the car and listen to a station that only plays real records , i swear it's record player is just a touch slow lol

 

it's almost frustrating lol hehehe

april wine played at our fair a few years ago , i was on the roadcrew for fred pepper at the fair so i brought the whole worlds going crazy album for them to sign , not the orig drummer so 3 out of 4 lol , they opened it up and started laughing i asked what's so funny and myles replied " we had hair " hahaha they were bald now, like me hehehe

 

i hang out in the 'finds thread' a lot most of my posts are there .

 

might have been harder faster , i will find it as you have inspired me to sort them lol

 

even set up a little system to listen to them while i sort hehehe

the six is a mirror , it's a cool cover never listened to it yet lol , i bought about 150 albums from a guy , mostly just before my era more my older brothers taste (2 years older ) , mother of invention, hendrix and that kind of stuff,we went to a lot of concerts together lol
