Flower frog id

    Hi Everyone,

    Would anyone happen to know the maker of this flower frog? The maker's markings/initials are in the second photo. Looks like faience, with a blueish-greyish hue.

    Not sure I'd call it a flower frog. Tulip vase maybe, or are the holes too small?

    No, it's for flowers. Back in the 18th/19th c, England had something called a bough pot which looked similar. You would put decorative branches from the shrubs, etc. in your garden.

    It seems like the flower finial would be easily damaged if you put things in the holes, and all the bricks I found have lots of holes. It's not that I like to argue, but then maybe I do.
