Cast iron horse drawn fire truck

I don't think it's too too old, but I'd still like to know more about it.
No markings that I have seen.

There are several different versions of this antique toy and many reproductions. Unfortunately, yours is one of the reproductions. I believe the Ives version most resembles yours. I think you will see the differences.



Here is a better quality reproduction that resembles yours even more closely. It has better quality than yours but is still a reproduction. Many of these get sold as old.

I guess this would be the pumper wagon?

Since it is cast iron (A magnet sticks to it) does that date it pre-1940s?

 

It is the pumper wagon. Even the new ones are cast iron and a magnet sticks. I agree with Book. 1970s or later.

1970s repro. I have a whole set of them that my mother bought and gave to my kids. There are wagons, train, the fire engine. Eventually, they'll be antique so I kept them. The comparison above is a good way to tell what era they are.
