Age (and perhaps maker) of old glass bottle?

Found in the woods in the U.S. When could it have been made? Maker? Could not find any company name or mark on it. Roughly 9.5x4". 2 seams, thick glass.

 

did u find a still ....in the area ??

 

So funny you mention that...that was the first thing I thought of too! Was looking for some copper tubing...ha ha. All we found was the bones of a possum, lol.

Mason type jar ...in the woods......what else could it be ?

 

Based on the suction mark on the bottom and style, 40's-60's product jar made by numerous different glass producers. A pic without the background noise might help.
