I recently acquired this at a yard sale and am interested in its worth. The emblem on the back says it was designed by Daher Decorated Ware, Daher Long Island, NY made in England with the number 11101 printed below the emblem.

Thanks in advance to anyone with information on this piece :)

These are relatively new, and it appears that they don't sell for much.
You can do a eBay completed sold auction search to see what they have been selling for.

It's pretty though; I'd put it on the coffee table and fill it with chocolate. That way you'd see the decoration early and often.

Not quite sure how to see completed auctions. I do have a seller's account though. Could you tell me how to see those?
Mmmm chocolate! What a great idea, thanks!

I think it's interesting that the location is "Long Island, N.Y." as opposed to the actual town in New York. Should be pre-1963 with the periods in the state abbreviation but is that a UPC from the first sale or the more recent one?

It was there when I bought it at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure when it was originally purchased, the woman I bought it from was selling it for someone else. I only paid $1 for it, there is some discoloration on the back from not being handled/stored properly but the front is in perfect condition.
Thank you so much for showing me how to do that! I really appreciate it :)

If you need to see how well something sells, click on "completed" instead of "sold" you can see how many did sell.

I think that's the other way around. Completed shows the ones that have ended; sold shows the ones that actually sold. It can be useful to look at both to get an idea of selling percentage and actual sale prices. If you can't find your piece there, check a replacement site and cut their price by about 2/3. That's generally about right.

That's kinda what I meant - I just couldn't get it into understandable words.

Thanks for pointing that out for me. I didn't find my particular piece but many similar ones, the most one sold was for $25.00.

Thank you and everyone for the speedy response! :)

You can also do a regular search and then click "Completed listings" or "Sold listings" in the menu on the left.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Looking at "completed" and "sold" listings should be very useful to sellers anywhere, but especially on eBay.
