I picked this gem up about four months ago from an antique shop in my neighbourhood. This radio is still in working condition and I am able to pick up a few stations on it.

I remember the day I walked into the shop & saw it. The owner had not dated or priced it at the moment. He said he wasn’t totally sure of the info on it, but it works. He asked me to guess at the year, I said 1942.

We went online at his shop, and used some of the numbers inside of it. We were actually able to find the info on this model, and it was in fact made in 1942, talk about a pretty good guess lol. Anyways, even though it works, it sits high atop my cupboards in my kitchen as a nice display piece.

Congrats on the find... It looks in great condition. I have a floor model of a Crosley with a turntable and AM/FM radio. Sadly the FM portion doesn't work.

I think I know the type of Crosley you are talking about, my Grandparents had one, before it broke I remember playing a Cat Stevens 45 on it, the song was Wild World. Maybe it wasn’t a fan of Cat Stevens lol

    That piece is lovely.
I loved Cat Stevens back in the day.
