Wondering if anyone can help identify and/or knows what it's worth?

About the same here. The exception is when you take one and monkey with it a bit. New springs, a funky fabric, and make sure the wood is in good shape first. Then they'll go for a few hundred if you're lucky, and you might even break even in terms of raw materials and labor.

In the U.S. midwest probably $20-$30, originally an Eastlake style walnut side chair, part of a larger parlor set. Crazy to be so cheap since it's carved solid walnut; so much nicer than buying new.

When it comes to Victorian chairs, it's probably best to not focus on worth as posters above have noted.
Better to just enjoy because you like interesting things to live with.
Yeah! like this lady who has a weakness for victorian chairs, money quote " my husband had a cow!"
Stumbled across Gina's blog about her chair restoration, very funny and adorable, i chuckle every time i think about this blog post & restoring chairs.

I've seen those chairs in person (about half an hour from here). She did a fantastic job on that restoration!
