Just found this basket at Komokwa’s favorite antique mall in Plymouth for $17., I think was made by one of the Inukpuk family members, about 10” tall.

Well. I went to an few estate sales this weekend. I got to one on the second day an hour after it started, and was 5 seconds too late to get a bunch of jewelry, but I really didn't miss much. I got three things she missed, have to photograph, and a Madame Alexander bride doll. The outfit was in one room, the nude doll in another, somebody grabbed the stockings before I could, our estate sales here are cray-cray. I will clean her up and dress her, she wasn't that much of a bargain and the lady was a crazy doll collector, so I haven't seen this doll in this particular outfit. I think the outfit is older than the doll. I am still terrible at glassware, but I am learning. I found this for $3 and I love it, matches my color scheme at home. Nemjid? pottery.

Hubby and I took a ride, and I stopped at some antique malls and thrift shops. In the one antique mall, I saw this mixed in with the costume rings. I did surrepticiously loupe it, and it is 14k, blueish cultured pearl. Worth the $5 I spent, and the design on the band goes all the way around, and it is perfectly my size. The tiering on the ring reminds me of sea coral.

Pearls are my favorite birthstone (along with moonstone and alexandrite, lucky June baby that I am.)

    Very nice everyone.
    Anun, that is terrific.
Marko I recently bought some of the same pottery you show. I got some vases in different sizes and colors. Each one was a dollar so .... I hope each one sells. If not I am not out a lot and I do like they way they look.

I think you did very well for a dollar a piece. Check ebay's prices! I absolutely love this little vase, and I am absolutely NOT a glassware person. I don't see very much blue out there, mostly earth tones.

Thanks for the link Marko. I have to list them, I have really fallen behind in trying to decide what to photograph and list first.

The article you show was written by a seller on etsy who used to be on Antique Roadshow from what she said at one time.

Gorgeous @Ownedbybear I love seeing other peoples finds.
I've got a butterfly wing brooch like that. Could be TLM Thomas Mott 1920s but you probably already know that :)

Items from a variety of sources this weekend including a trip to the antique mall. Haven't yet photographed my auction finds from Saturday. Got the Big 4 railroad rules book from Half Price Books.

Those railroad books used to be SILLY money. No idea about now, but some sort-lived lines and short line stuff can go nuts. I once found a little pin from a Texas/Louisiana line that came in a $20 lot. Pin went for about $300; their employee stuff didn't exist (it was a freight line) and there were a few rabid collectors looking.

@Jivvy - the spider and the fly was about six dollars. ;)

@KSW - yes, I love butterfly wing. Made as plaques in Brazil then we added the silver. I think this one may be a bit earlier than the 20s from the hinge.
