Almost all the Herend pieces that turn up here in Indiana are exactly that. And usually factory seconds to boot.

I think there is a solid type air freshener that you could put in the little scent ball. Like the pastilles that they used to put in the Staffordshire fig pastille burners. But it is really a tchotchke. Herend seems to do well regardless of the collapse of the porcelain market.

Too late to do any good, I'd have called it a miniature pomander, but I'm weird.

Or better yet a large bourbon?

thought of that, but without a latch or hinges it would be impractical.

I fear I have made a serious error - apparently I supplied the dimensions of this piece as 2" by 2-1/2" - but unfortunately I used the SMALL 2" size and not the LARGE 2" size my prospective buyer was expecting.................."Oh, you said it was small at 2", but it is smaller than I anticipated".........................

Off to bandage my head with vinegar and brown paper............because I have been banging it against a wall................why am I sentenced to live in such a world???

How they stay upright is anyone's guess, but apparently it only takes muscle memory to walk and chew gum at the same time.

Much sympathy. Recently had a bowl returned because the buyer didn't bother reading the size. I had to pay return shipping. There will be no profit on that piece!

Fortunately I didn't loose any money over this, only time and the energy I expended to brush my hair and pull on a pair of jeans..........................

When I was selling fully furnished 1/144 scale houses, there came a point I ever after included a picture like the following... you know why:

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

@Jivvy , that looks familiar. Did you use it as your avatar on the eBay boards?
