Style-wise, I’m thinking this little cat is Spanish. It has a gold wash and blue enamel head, tail and paws.

the marks are found on the C catch and the pin. The one on the C catch is most visible, but it doesn’t appear to be a Spanish mark, but I believe it to be the primary purity mark

IMO, it looks like a left facing head with a number below, possibly “103”

It tests as silver, but less than sterling

I can’t make any sense of the other marks

    Any thoughts are appreciated 903831FB-AE47-400D-AD87-3886F21E2482.jpeg FD6EC906-2AA4-4CB3-9FA8-3BAA86F889F2.jpeg ADC10341-BC30-4B27-AA2C-AD7FDB77A288.jpeg CE86F64C-A412-469B-A1C8-59E400AA886E.jpeg BA19EE0C-2625-4920-8AD7-E99809990BD3.jpeg 2364F390-392B-4259-8477-8F591B5411C8.jpeg

I don't see Spanish. Let's see what others say.

None beyond the fact... I've never seen anything like it in Spain.

Good enough for me. I once had a filigree butterfly brooch with enamel work that was marked Spain, and this piece immediately reminded me of that.

I know it could very well be Italian, but Spain popped into my head because of that butterfly from years ago

Could be Portuguese too; they absolutely delight in fiendlishy small or hidden marks.

It doesn’t look at all Iberian to me, especially with that enamel. I’m wondering farther east. Türkiye maybe, given the cat lovers there.

The paisley motif would point one east.

The combination of blue enamel and elegantly swirling filigree is very Portuguese, and the shape of two of the marks is that of the town of Oporto, so I say Portuguese.
The marks are a bit blurry, but if the silver tests as less than sterling, they could be the Oporto cockerel head for .833, introduced in 1938.

The more I look at the mark…..I’m thinking it’s a match:
