Being unmarked on the underside is not the only thing we look for. How the underside is shaped and finished or not will also give hints about what company made it.

Also, the color of the clay might offer clues.

Same exact color as body, totally glazed inside/out,no base clay bleed thru. The only thing discernible is a mold seam across the bottom/base.Sorry no Pics I left it at the Thrift & I hope I'm not out a Grand !

Was the bottom flat. If so, I would look towards Haeger

Wow-I just stumbled across a page of Roseville Futura,I'd forgotten how amazing some of those pieces were. That was definitely their Art Pottery line,it came and went and then they drifted back into their semi Arts & Crafts floral designs.

    Thanks RCL-looking up Rumrill.
I'd forgotten how amazing Futura was (most pieces I saw dated to 1928).It seems very avant garde' compared to much of the rest of their line-like the Futurist Movement in art.

It is pretty, but I'm such a cheapskate I couldn't bear to part w/ the $15 they wanted. To do the lengthy Ebay Ritual,I like to at least triple my outlay (or more).I'm looking for this (good luck). Most, perhaps all,of Roseville Futura's line is unmarked, except for a wax crayon number written on the base.
