Contemporary Rug...What Style..Origin Help?

I bought this rug today....I liked it..Sorta looks like "Fish Swimming In Water"...It is hand done...Any help on Style & Origin is appreciated...Sorry,for the pictures...It is a 9 x 12 footer & I could not fully op en.

I think it'll be hard for anyone to tell its origin unless they've seen identical rugs and know the source.

This isn't anyone's official name for the style but one I just made up: "Reservation Revival." Use it if you like, blame it on me if it causes trouble.

 

I've never seen a rug with a saw tooth edge....
it looks more like a bolt of heavy fabric......from what I can see !

 

That "pinked" edge made me wonder what and why also.

 

Edge is smooth-look again-just a dark-dyed sawtooth design on the edge. OP should show a closeup pic of the backside to see what the weave looks like.

 

ya, what at first looks like a shadow , appears now to be a brown edge design.
