Featured Frosted Art Glass Goblet - Unusual Characters ?

    Hello.

    Can anyone suggest who the two characters on this unusual glass goblet are supposed to represent ?

    looks like vintage Versace Medusa or some type of Bacchanal?

    Also Rosenthal did some stuff with the Versace style Medusa.

    I thought this was going to be easy because the first one so obviously looks like Dionysus/Bacchus. But then I hit that cat with the leaf-like ears! Traditionally the companion animal of Dionysus is a pantheress. Maybe in these times he's living in an apartment & only has room for a house cat? Really cool though.
