    We don't normally give estimates here but even telling you what you have is a little difficult due to the very dark photos. Can you retake with a flash camera or more lighting somehow? Most of what you show isn't very old or particularly valuable.

    Most people consider an antique a piece that is over 100 years old. Depending on how old you are and how old your grandmother was, these may or may not be considered antiques. The other question you need answered is whether they were mass produced, in which case they won't have much value.

    Agree ..... most of what I see is just 1950s or later used furniture. The one old piece may be the dresser with the marble top. We would need more/better pictures to make a determination.

    The chandelier, while not particularly old, may have some value since some seem to be going for this kind of stuff these days. Not my taste or interest so I could be off-base on this. Not really sure what makes some of these esoteric design things sell or not.

    Thank you very much for your constructive feedback both of you!
    1950s was spot on! I guess next move is to contact a local shop and ask them if they are interested in anyboe those..
    I feel just selling them would be pointless..Rather than someone can put em to good use!

    Thanx again

    Oh and in reply of your comment about mass production of the furniture.I know for a fact that they were hand crafted as a set for my grandmothers wedding.i still sleep on the same bed my father was concieved and as it turned out me too!

    Welcome George...:)

    I trust you've changed the mattress ....:hilarious::hilarious:

    You say a set.....I'm not seeing a set unless you're referring to pieces not pictured...like the dresser & the bed.
    Like Brad says , the dresser looks to need more research, & my Dad has a breakfront similar to yours....which my 30 year old daughter COVETS.....so just maybe there's more value there than one might expect.;)

    MCM is still hot in modern design, so some 50s and 60s pieces are worth real money. I of course have none of them.
