I found a box of china. I have been searching and I think I came close like maybe MCM Atomic Starburst or maybe a snow flake. Here is a small bowl as an example. The dimensions are 6 3/8" top diameter from side to side x 2 7/8" x 1 1/2" height. I would like to ask for assistance in company and pattern? Thank you for your assistance. Rob

Rob, since snowflakes only have 6 "points", these must be starbursts.

If I have time later, I'll see if I can find the pattern for you.

Is mine the gold foil version of Royal China (USA) "Crystal" pattern?

Could this be Atomic Starburst Bowl White Gold Mid Century Bowl? Rob

Rob, I don't now how valid this info is, as it's from a seller, but it seems to make some sense...

Royal apparently made TWO versions of this pattern: CRYSTAL in the 1950's, and STAR GLOW in the 1960's. I'm not even going to TRY to tell the difference, or what yours is. Here's what I read:

Royal China (USA) in the Crystal pattern. The pattern consists of gold stars on a white background. Some people confuse this with the Star Glow Pattern. Crystal is from the 1950s and when Royal decided to redesign the shape of the dishes in the mid-1960s they also gave it a new pattern name -- Star Glow.

Here are photos of both from Replacements. CRYSTAL is on the left; STAR GLOW is on the right.

"Mid-Century" or MCM is certainly an appropriate description!

I appreciate the info and the pictures. Neither CRYSTAL nor the STAR GLOW are like my pictures. I believe the ones that I have are Atomic Starburst Bowl White Gold Mid Century which I found on ebay. Thank you for the help. Rob

    FWIW
I agree they are different. Robs has circle ball tips on stars. The others are more like arrows.
But I couldn’t find any closer than what was found.

    You are both SO RIGHT!

I got so carried away when I saw that the pattern had been ID'd that I honestly didn't even LOOK for differences. (And, meanwhile, I learned something about Royal China!)

Hmm... I'll try to look for the RIGHT pattern later!

And, Rob - I believe all the words in that title might be "descriptive", not indicative of any particular maker or pattern name

Reminds me more of a Sputnik pattern, but searching that has not helped.

I know this is an old thread but did you ever find out the brand/name? I just had a chance to buy and entire 8 place setting plus extras of this pattern and cannot find the exact name anywhere on the internet.
