These were an eBay purchase, which arrived this week. They're absolutely adorable, and they'll go great with my collection of silver chopsticks.

Gorgeous, Shangas. And even though they're not Chinese, I'm sure your Chinese chopsticks would love a little rest on these lovelies.

I am rarely jealous...but those are pushing my buttons!
Particularly fine pieces, Shangas...be nice to know about the signature. Thanks!
You have silver 'sticks...I have a few lacquer, bamboo & ivory. You've got a category, silver...mine will have to go in art; as soon as we get a bit of sunshine, so I can get good pics.

Despite the popularity of silver chopsticks, I was really surprised that silver chopstick rests are almost nonexistent! This was the only set I could find on ALL OF EBAY. The seller offered a really generous discount, so...well...then I just HAD to buy them, didn't I? It'd be rude not to...

They are really cute. The upper mark is "Jungin", or "Pure Silver" in Japanese, so that's the hallmark. The mark underneath is presumably the silversmith's mark, but I haven't been able to trace it.

I also have one pair of ivory chopsticks in my collection. They're plain, straight-sided, Chinese style. Not fancy, but they are cool!

Those things were orphaned and in need of a home. Of course you had to give them one. (before Mr Nate saw them...or one of us did!)

They're absolutely adorable. And yes, I'm glad I gave them a home, with silver chopsticks that they can be with.
