So far I was not able to identify the artist. So it is either unknown / amateur or I am not searching right.
What would you call the style? An original idea or influenced by someone?
    Thanks

Bev aka thelmasstuff Colored pencil artist extraordinaire ;)

1967 student art is my guess. A Modigliani inspired model in front of a Mondrian background. Are those price stickers on the frame?

Yes, $ .28 price tags on the frame from the GEX store.

I would call it "late 1960s representational painting of a model in a studio"

Looks like a yellow canvas leaned against a window.

Key words Mad Men, Mid Century Modern.

The painting is original but it is reminiscent of representational art from the late 1960's from known artists like Alex Katz, Alfred Leslie, Jane Freilicher and of course with the large flat expanses, Richard Diebenkorn.
