Spot on. We bought some old leatherworking tools for £5, looked at them, thought they were junk and put them in a general auction. Made £110 and still dont know why!

Greg, years ago I paid $75 for just the head of a Shawnee "Puss n Boots" cookie jar. It was the most colorfully decorated lid I'd ever seen AND it was LOADED with gold trim, a MAJOR plus with those old Shawnee pieces. It sold within a week for $300+...just the lid.

    Hi,
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I am a little red faced at the moment. Sometimes I think I might be slipping but then someone really does listen to my babbling. Thanks again.

I had a pin once. Old plastic, it was in the shape of a bow made of red dots. I listed it for $9.99 and it sold for $125. I still don't know why.

Not to prolong the issue, that certainly looks like a mop cap of the 1800s to me also rather than a hood. Nowww if that hat is attached to the cape in the back, then it would be a hood, but then both cape hood combo should be red. Anyways, No doubt she is suppose to be Red Riding hood, but the creator took liberties (Get your minds out of the gutter!!!!) in her dress.
