    I read the reviews, but they really didn't say why this one was better (or how much they paid!)

    What go-to books do you guys use routinely?

    Someone mentioned Hougart's book "Southwestern Silver" as "10 x better" ...

    I have the 3rd edition, 2013. Bought it cheap second hand, can't remember how much for, but I am Dutch, nuf said.:D

    I know nothing about Mexican silver or books but these 2 you posted seem like different books.
    One thing i do know about is furniture books & those can get very pricey in a hurry if out of print which many are. Particularly if written by scholars & small/limited print runs.
